Four Thousand
When I started Liturgy and Truth this past November, there were perhaps twenty of you. Today we passed four thousand. I did not see it coming, and I am genuinely humbled by it.
These essays are really just one priest thinking aloud about the things that have filled fifty-two years of ordained life: the liturgy, the Church, and the moral questions pressing on us at the moment. That so many of you have chosen to read along — and often to push back, which I value just as much — has turned what began as a solitary habit into something far larger and far better than I could have managed alone.
So to everyone who has subscribed, commented, disagreed in good faith, or quietly shared these pages with a friend: thank you. You have made this what it is.
With gratitude, and gladly onward.
Monsignor Arthur Holquin, S.T.L.
